How we build the averages
The Albania figures come from the written quotes provided by the 16 clinics our team coordinates with in Tirana — updated monthly. UK and Germany numbers come from Bupa and KZV Berlin published 2025 price bands. Turkey averages are the mid-range of Istanbul FUE + dental clinics by published quote (not the "from" teaser price — we use the number clinics quote once a written case is sent). Hungary comes from published Budapest clinic rate cards.
We update prices quarterly. When a material system changes (e.g. Osstem vs Straumann), the calculator shows the most commonly quoted system in each country.
Why Albania is ~60% cheaper than the UK (but not because of "cheap work")
The component-level math is published in our investigation: Why is Albania 60% cheaper? The component math. Labour (dentist salary), property rents, regulation costs, and non-clinical overhead are all fractions of UK equivalents, while materials (Osstem, Straumann, Nobel, Dentsply) are the same globally traded imports. The saving comes from the local cost base — not from cheaper implants.
